Baby it's COLD outside!

Last year on New Years Day we took our 4 wheelers to a little park up S.F. Canyon to pull tubes around with our 4 wheelers. It was so much fun, so this year we wanted to do that again. We went to the park on New Years.....It was CLOSED! We tried a few other spots that we thought would work, but none of them worked out either. We ended up in my grandma's field, which we ususally hit a couple times during the winter anyways. Toby LOVED it. When the wheeler would stop she would say "More more, again again" The snow is so much more enjoyable when you actually go out and play in it.

After we were beat up enough from the tubing (my dad's goal ALWAYS is to empty the tube! And he ALWAYS succeeds!!!) We made a fire in the back field and roasted hot dogs and smores. What a fun and great way to bring in the New Year!Toby was so content to just sit in the snow and eat it off her gloves! She probably sat there for a good solid 15 minutes, which is pretty rare for her to sit for that long! :) I had her bundled up SO much! Am I a paranoid mom? She was doing good just to walk.... Standing up was a whole nother story! She could not get up by herself! I love this picture of her trying to stand up, when she noticed that again there was snow on her gloves and she forgot that she couldn't move and was yelling out of frusteration.....Back to being content! haha
