This year St. Patricks Day was SO fun with Toby! She had been talking for weeks about setting a trap and catching her very own Leprechaun! The day before we made a trap and a fake pot of gold. Toby painted the pot and gold, glued shamrocks all over the top and added the rainbow to her trap. Man, was she excited to set it all up. It was very high tech. You see, the Leprechaun would see the pot of gold, step inside, and somehow magically the pencil holding the lid open would come crashing down and catch the wee little man!

That morning she came out and plopped down in front of her trap. She was a little nervous I think. She was Positive there was someone inside! She opened the lid and instead of a Leprechaun she found a clue!

The race was on! She took off in search of the next clue.
See that gold pot in her hand? It didn't leave that spot all day! She took it everywhere with her!

She found her first Clue! Which in the end led her to a pot of caramel popcorn!

The Leprechaun also made a big ol' mess of our house. He opened every cupboard door, turned the table chairs, flipped the coffee table, moved the couches, flipped Scouts bouncer chair, and pulled out Toby's dresser drawers. "He sure was tricky mom!"
